A fully functional turnkey automation project is often necessary to meet the needs of a customer application.  There are other times when all that is needed is design support.  Design is a critical requirement in our own systems and processes and our Design department is well equipped to address any challenge.  We therefore gladly support our customer’s design needs should they require these services.  The difference, however, between getting design services from IA as compared to a “design house” is that our design support will be provided by our in-house Engineering staff.

When IA was founded, we knew that we had to model the company to focus on our Engineering capabilities.  As such, we hired and developed engineers that would not only be able to execute engineering functions but also be capable to design.  Additionally, our engineers/designers are able to support machine builds on our shop floor as well as assist with installations and service at our customer facilities.

Our design department utilizes AutoDesk products including the most recent versions of both Inventor and AutoCAD.  We always stay up to date with the latest revisions and have in-house capabilities for advanced analysis including FEA for the evaluation of mechanical systems.  We also provide controls design functions as well as programming for customer projects if you already have mechanical capability and only need support of the hard to find controls disciplines.
